We offer an opportunity for all kids ages 2 & up to publish their work,

and a co-op for local homeschoolers ages 12 & up.

What we do

The mission of Main Street Homeschool Auxiliary is to promote curiosity and creativity in a supportive community of learners.

We showcase the work of students of all ages in our digital and print magazine.

Who we are

Our PORTALS Magazine editorial staff is made up of students ages 13 - 17, who’ve been working on the magazine since its inception in 2020. These students took the magazine from concept to publication, coming to consensus about our magazine's themes, the elements we want to publish, and the sort of work we're looking for. They now review all submissions, communicate with contributors, and design the layout of the magazine.

Our co-op is made up of a dynamic team of homeschooling families with children ages 12 & up. Adults use their talents to facilitate workshops, offer a variety of learning opportunities, and support students to take increasing responsibility for our community. Students design their own learning in Student-Led Clubs.

How to participate

All children & teens are invited to publish in PORTALS Magazine.

Contact us if you’re interested in joining our local co-op. We meet select Mondays, September - May.
